Dread

I got my task.  

Put up a set of four prints of your own graphical works on Amazon and Etsy and/or other sales platforms tomorrow. 

I can't!  Noone gives a fig about my art, it's all digital anyway and I don't know that it's all that good.  Noone will buy them anyway.  What if the print quality is awful?  How much for? 

I mean, I know what brand I can use - I've made hundreds of them.  I have the software and the images and a theme of sorts.  Yes.  My first thoughts?  How can I make sure noone knows it's me.  My second thought, how can I fake them being legitimately by an artist. 

I am an artist.  I mean, I've never actively displayed or studied it as an artist, I'm just someone who rustles up stuff for projects.  What if people back home find out and laugh at me?  What if my colleagues think they're awful or not even remarkable.  I mean my art style for this is completely unlike what I do normally anyway.  There's way too much to learn.   Okay, I'm not going to do that because I'll look an in idiot, but IF I WERE TO (i.e. simulate) what would I do? 

Thank God - she just emailed me a guide.  My head was turning to custard.  Apparently I am doing it and my boss said my graphical work she saw in secret was excellent, very different and an unusual subject treated unusually. 

👀 what does that even mean. I've done this a hundred times for other people, why can't I do it for myself.  Because it's me that's why.  Noone's going to want it and the people who dislike me will laugh at me which is something I really don't need right now. 

Okay I'm panicking so much she's chatting to me again.

Coach: you're doing this.  Do you have internet access and four graphics you can make into prints? 

Me: I can't even begin with this.  They won't sell!  People will laugh at them or overlook them.  I'll be sitting here in six months with zero of them sold .

Coach: give me three platforms to sell on

Me: Pfff, Redbubble, Etsy, Amazon (I saw some graphic plates on there). 

Coach: Where can people find you and what's your brand since your name apparently is so precious? 

Me: ****** (private) and I guess, my blog and Instagram. 

Coach: There you go then. 

Me: where I go where?  I can't do this!

Coach: yes you can. And you're going to.  We shall do it together.  Post a blog entry and update your instagram on it.  Everyone fakes their first few.  So... do you have anyone/any accounts who you can just get following you? 

Me: yes, a few.  People who hate me will find it and tell me everything on it is shit. 

Coach: good.  If they can find it, it means others can find it. 

Me: I need to pick the prints first don't I.  Four.  Just let me do that first.
